 KARACHI: Information Minister Sherry Rehman has said registration of FIR and exposing the person who has fired bullet on Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto is not enough but "we want UN investigation into the assassination of BB to expose the hands behind this murder adding killers of Benazir Bhutto will be exposed soon."
Sherry Rehman said this while addressing Meet the Press program in Karachi press club and later answering to the questions from the media men here Wednesday.
She told Benazir Bhutto was an international leader therefore, investigations were being got conducted through UN so that probe could take place in transparent manner. UN had also assured Pakistan for initiating investigation soon, she added.
She alleged several forces did not want Pakistan and democracy grows stable. But democracy had taken roots, she added. "We will fight against terrorism with full force", she affirmed.
"We don't want war or confrontation as these are not in the interest of both the countries. Cleansing the country form terrorists is in the interest of Pakistan", she announced. Action will be taken where writ of the government is challenged, she held.
Government would resolve all the problems of Balochistan as sense of deprivation had prevailed therein, she told.
Judiciary issue would be resolved through parliament and all the decisions would be taken by taking all the allies on board, she remarked. "We will take all along with us in sensitive issues", she added. |  |
