 Only announced load shedding under load management program

Only announced load shedding under load management program LAHORE: Lahore Electric supply Company (LESCO) chief executive, Akram Arain has assured the industrialists that under load management program only announced load shedding would resorted to, while for the domestic and small customers the duration has been cut by one hour.

In a meeting with the industrialists delegation here, LESCO chief said that the company was currently facing power shortage of 600MW per day and 8 to 10 hours of load shedding was underway. LESCO chief said that unannounced load shedding was being done away with and plan has been prepared for increasing supply of power to the industrial sector.
