 5 dead, 10 injured as pick-up hurtles into ravine

 SHANGLA: At least five passengers were killed and five others were wounded on Tuesday after a pick-up crashed into in a ravine in District Shangla.

The pick-up was traveling from Khwazakhela tehsil of Swat to Alpori and started to pick up speed. It slipped off the road and fell down a ravine.

Following the incident, local residents launched the rescue efforts.

According to reports, five people died on the spot when 10 others sustained injuries, out of which five are said to be in critical state.

The injured have been shifted to the Saidu Sharif Hospital.
