 LAHORE: Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khosa said that he would meet the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif after his visit to Naudero in continuation of my efforts to reconcile differences with all political parties
"I would develop cordial relations with the Punjab government through reconciliation process," he said while talking to the media after a meeting with Interior Minister Abdul Rehman Malik who called on him at the Governor's House here on Friday.
The Punjab Governor said that he would turn Pakistan especially Punjab into an oasis of peace, adding that every possible measure would be adopted to improve the law and order situation in the province.
Khosa said that the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) was founded to serve the masses and give them self-esteem.
To a question, Punjab Governor expressed deep sorrow and grief over the murder of a journalist in Karachi and paid rich tributes to the late journalist who died in harness.
Speaking on the occasion, Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that he had come to congratulate and extend his best wishes to Salman Taseer on his elevation as Punjab Governor. | |  | |
