Demos against Wali’s killing continue KARACHI: Journalists’ protest demonstrations against the brutal murder of Geo News reporter Wali Khan Babar were also held on Saturday in which vociferous demands were made for immediate arrest of the terrorists who perpetrated the heinous crime.

In Jaffarabad, Journalists took out a rally from Press Club to Markazi Chowk where it converged into a big gathering. The journalists also staged a sit-in at Sindh-Balochistan highway. They held placards inscribed with demands for bringing the cold-blooded murderers to justice.

A rally participated by lawyers, representatives of civil society, traders association and journalists was staged in Khanewal.

Journalists of Jhang also made a vociferous demand for the arrest of the killers of brave Wali Khan Babar.

In Dera Ghazi Khan, protest was held outside the Press Club while journalists and civil society members staged a demonstration at Battery Chowk in Rohri.

Journalists, city associations and civil society representatives held protest rally on the second consecutive day and vehemently condemned the killing of Geo News reporter and called for immediate arrest of the elements involved behind the crime.

Tribal journalists of Tehsil Jamrod, Khyber Agency staged a protest demonstration from Press Club to Khyber Pass and chanted slogans against Sindh Home Minister.
