 New Year welcomed with camel fight in Muzaffargarh

New Year welcomed with camel fight in Muzaffargarh MUZAFFARGARH: People of Muzaffarghar and surrounding areas organized a camel fight festival to celebrate New Year, Geo News reported on Sunday.

Despite severe cold in the area, a large number of people participated in the camel fight fair near Tharmal Power Grid Station.

People from Laiya, Rajanpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur and Cholistan participated in the fair alongwith their fighting camels.

Despite ban on animal fight, the fair is organized every year on January 02.
