Deposed CJ arrives in Lahore LAHORE: Deposed Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has reached Lahore on Saturday.

Iftikhar Chaudhry would administer the oath of newly elected members of Lahore district bar and address a convention of lawyers.

President Supreme Court Bar Ali Ahmad Kurd, Chaudhry Atizaz Ahsan, deposed Chief Justice Khalil Ramday and large number of lawyers and activists of PML-N, Jamaat-i-Islami, Tahreek-i-Insaaf and other political parties received him at Allama Iqbal Airport.

Punjab government is giving Iftikhar Chaudhry a protocol of chief justice of Pakistan.

Earlier, large number of lawyers and civil society representatives see off him at Islamabad airport.
