 LAHORE: Governor Punjab Sardar Latif Khosa Wednesday dispelled the impression that weak security was responsible for bomb blasts not being stopped, saying it is impossible to stop anyone who comes with explosives strapped on him.
He said this while talking to media men after enquiring about the health of the injured during his visit to Meo Hospital here.
“The policemen sacrificed their lives to protect the nation from a huge tragedy and I pay tribute to the brave souls,” he said.
He said the government would very soon announce financial assistance for the bereaved families of the Shaheed policemen.
Latif Khosa said a comprehensive strategy will have to be chalked out to arrest suicide attacks. |
