Updated at: 2318 PST,  Thursday, January 28, 2010
Accountability bill to be presented soon: Fauzia ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Information Secretary Fauzia Wahab has said that 27 bills have been tabled in the Parliament during the last 20 months.

Speaking to newsmen outside the Parliament House, she said the PPP-led government will complete its 5-year term and will give power projects of 7000 MW.

The PPP leader dispelled the wrong impression that the PPP government was not introducing legislation.

Four bills were brought in 2008, while in 2009, 22 bills were presented before the Parliament, she said.

She claimed that there had been reduction in price hike and inflation during the PPP government.

Wahab further said that the Accountability Commission Bill would be tabled in the Parliament soon.
