Updated at: 1338 PST, Monday, January 31, 2011 LONDON: European stock markets fell slightly at the start of trading on Monday, with London's FTSE 100 index of leading shares down 0.11 percent to 5,874.72 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 also dipped 0.11 percent to 7,094.56 points and in Paris the CAC 40 lost 0.13 percent to 3,997.14.
