ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Q Secretary General Mushahid Hussain Syed Friday said that innocent people were getting killed in US drone strikes.
Briefing the media in Islamabad, Syed called on the United States to review its policy of drone strikes in Pakistan’s tribal region. He noted that drones strikes were undermining Islamabad’s efforts against terrorism.
“There is no possibility of mid-term polls, he said, adding the country cannot afford it either.”
He said that Pakistan media was more independent than its American or British counterpart. |  |
