| | GEO Sports | | Pakistan’s Adnan selected for Asian Formula Racing Championship | Updated at: 2328 PST, Friday, January 09, 2009 LAHORE: Car racing driver Adnan Sarwar has become the first ever Pakistani driver to be selected for the Asian Formula Racing Championship 2009. While talking with a local news agency, Adnan said that the current champions, Asian Racing Team offered him full time racing seat for the season to compete in the Asian Formula Racing Cahmpionship. A series of seven races will be held in China and Malaysia and will be held on Formula-1 race circuits using 2.0 litre Formula Renault race cars. Adnan Sarwar, belonged to Lahore is a Bank Alfalah supported driver who has represented Pakistan in the Indian Formula Racing Championship in 2008 and is the first local Pakistani racing driver to test for the A1 GP team Pakistan. |  |
