ISLAMABAD: Two alleged terrorists were apprehended and over 800-kg of explosives were recovered from their possession in Islamabad on Saturday.
According to sources, acting on a tip off the CIA Islamabad raided a house in Barah Kaho area situated in the federal capital and arrested two alleged terrorist, belonging to a banned religious outfit.
The accused were planning to carry out a big terrorist attack in Islamabad. However, the plan was thwarted due to timely action by law enforcement agencies.
The sources said the arrested terrorists were shifted to an undisclosed location for further interrogation.
