Pakistan hockey team off to Hamburg KARACHI: Led by striker Shakeel Abbasi an 18-member Pakistan squad left here on Tuesday for Hamburg via Dubai on Tuesday to take part in the four-nation Hamburg Masters Hockey Tournament being held in Germany from October 3 to 5.

Pakistan will face Malaysia in their opening match on October 3 followed by match against Belgium on October 4 and on the final day they will clash host Germany on October 5.

Pakistan squad is as follow Nasir Ahmed, Imran Shah, Muhammad Khurram (goal-keepers), Muhammad Imran, Kashif Ali, Muhammad Ateeq (full-backs), Rana Asif, M.Irfan, Zaheer Ahmed, (half-backs)

M.Waqas Sharif, Shafqat Rasool, Shakeel Abbasi (Captain), Akhtar Ali, Abdul Haseem Khan, Kashif Javed, Inayatullah, Muhammad Zubair (forwards).

Officials: Jehangir Butt (Chief coach/Manager), Kamran Ashraf, danish Kaleem (coaches) Faiz-ur-Rehman (Physio) and Nadeem Lodhi (Video Analyst).
