 MOHALI: On the first day of the India vs Australia series Australian skipper Ricky Ponting and Indian pacer Zaheer Khan were seen involved in an argument.
Ricky Ponting was dismissed by Zaheer Khan in the opening Test at PCA Stadium on Friday, the two were seen indulged in a verbal spat.
The incident took place when Ponting was on his way to pavillion. Ponting went for a determined 71 but as he was walking away Zaheer made remarks that sparked off a verbal exchange.
Ponting was even seen raising his bat at Zaheer, who then raised his hand pointing at the pavilion. Umpire Billy Bowden had to intervene to cool down the players. |
