 Gilani strongly condemns suicide attack on jirga

 ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has strongly condemned the suicide attack on the Jirga at Orakzai Agency resulting in loss of many precious lives and injuries to scores of others.

The Prime Minister said that those playing with the lives of innocent people would not escape the wrath of Allah and the law of the land.

He directed the law enforcement agencies to initiate immediate inquiry into the act of terrorism and bring the perpetrators to book.

Prime Minister Gilani instructed the law enforcement agencies to keep strong vigil on the miscreants who wanted to create law and order situation in the country and impede the voyage of progress and prosperity of the country.

He reiterated government's firm resolve to fight the menace of terrorism and extremism. Prime Minister Gilani expressed profound grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives.
