SRINAGAR: In occupied Kashmir, the authorities have imposed strict curfew across the Kashmir Valley to prevent people from conducting a march towards Hyderpora in Srinagar.
Call for the march has been given by Hurriyet leader, Masarrat Aalam Butt to protest against the continued illegal house arrest of veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani by the occupation authorities.
"Curfew has been imposed across Kashmir Valley," a police spokesman told mediamen. Police vehicles, fitted with public address system, announced imposition of the curfew in many areas and asked people not to defy the restrictions.
