WASHINGTON: Washington is "concerned" about reports of voting irregularities in municipal elections by independent monitors in Russia, the State Department said Wednesday.
"Obviously, we are concerned about the reports from independent election monitors of irregularities during the municipal elections that took place at a number of regions around Russia on Sunday," said spokesman Philip Crowley.
