Seven LJ saboteurs nabbed MULTAN: The Bahawalpur police have arrested seven terrorists involved in attack at a sensitive agency in Multan and other sabotage activities, Geo News reported Thursday.

Addressing a pres conference, RPO Bahawalpur Syed Muhammed Abid Qadri said the terrorists were planning various terror activities including attacks on the Prime Minister and the foreign minister.

Abid Qadri said the terrorists involved in suicide attack at a sensitive agency on December 8, have been arrested, adding at least 12 people were killed and various others injured in the said attack.

These people were involved in a robbery in Jalalpur and killing of five people in Kachcha Koh.

According to the RPO, these people were arrested from Bahawalpur tehsil of Ahmedpur Sharqia after a police encounter.

The accused belong to Lashkar-e-Jhangavi Punjab (Qari Imran group).

The arrested people include Tehreek-e-Taliban commander Abdur Rehman alias Talha, Muhammed Afzal, Hafiz Salman, Sajjad, Muhammed Saleem, Bilal and Mfti Munawwar Hussain. The search for their two absconding accomplices is underway.

Talha is Naib Amir of Tehreek-e-Punjab Punjab Lashkar-e-Jhangavi.
