Abbas wins gold for Pakistan in Commonwealth Games JOHANNESBURG: Pakistani karatekas Saadi Abbas won gold medal in Commonwealth Karate Championship in 67 kg category.

In the final of 67 kg category of the event, Abbas defeated South African karatekas. Saadi Abbas also won the gold medal in SAF Games 2007 and reached into quarterfinals of World Championship held in Tokyo.
