 ISLAMABAD : Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Sohail Ahmed said at least Rs12 billion have been received out of Rs20 billion set as the target of Advance Tax till October 15, Geo News reported Saturday.
Talking to Geo News, he said Rs263 billion have been received out of Rs270 billion which was set as target of tax receipts in the first quarterly of the current fiscal year.
The FBR Chairman said the target of Rs117 billion would be achieved in the current month and it includes the arrears of Rs7 billion of the last quarterly.
Earlier, he inaugurated the Director Generals Conference to create consensus on the reforms for the entire year. |  |
