Nawaz blames President for ‘current situation’

Updated at: 2354 PST,  Sunday, October 17, 2010
Nawaz blames President for ‘current situation’ LONDON: Pakistan Muslim League-N Chief Nawaz Sharif Sunday said that President Asif Ali Zardari is himself responsible for the ‘present situation’ in the country.

Addressing a press conference in London, Nawaz Sharif said that President Zardari has still not accepted the judiciary whole-heartedly. “He is himself responsible for the present situation in the country,” he said, adding, President Zardari is the man who had committed breach of agreements even before he became President.

“Only if people who had looted the country would have been held accountable, Zardari Sahab’s situation would been very much different,” Nawaz Sharif remarked.
