24 militants killed in Bajaur, Mohmand, Orakzai agencies KHAR: At least 24 militants were killed in separate operations carried out in Bajaur, Mohmand and Upper Orakzai agencies on Monday, Geo news reported.

Six militants were killed and three injured in clashed between security forces and militants in tehsil Salarzai of Bajaur Agency meanwhile heavy amount of suspected armaments were also seized during security forces’ search operations in Khar tehsil, sources said.

According to sources, 14 militants were killed and 12 injured when security forces pounded militants sanctuaries in tehsils Anbar, Pindyali and Paizai and two Taliban commanders were apprehended from Chand Mari area.

Also, four minor children were killed as a mortar hit a house located in tehsil Pindyali while as many militants were killed and two of their hideouts were destroyed due to security forces’ bombardment in parts of Upper Orakzai Agency, sources said.

28 suspected miscreants were nabbed during search operation in Shabkadar tehsil of Charsadda and in Charbagh tehsil of Swat, sources added.
