Skardu, suburbs suffer power cutoff for three days SKARDU: The power supply to the Skardu and its suburbs is cut off for last three days owing to the technical glitch in two power windmills of Wapda, Geo News reported Tuesday.

According to sources, the two windmills at Sadpara Dam went out of order three days ago and the experts could not as yet make it to Skardu city for repair works.

The power supply to the Skardu city and its suburban areas including Nuranga, Kashmara and Sadpara is lying disconnected for three days.

According to sources, the power cutoff is affecting works at government offices and hospitals which has caused intense anger among the citizens.
