Terrorists attack Khyber Agency check post; one hurt PESHAWAR: Some miscreants attacked a security check post established at the border between Peshawar and Khyber Agency, injuring a police personnel, Geo News reported Wednesday.

A miscreant from attackers was killed when the security men returned the attack.

According to security sources, saboteurs riding motorbikes attacked with an indigenously made hand grenade the Bara check post shared by police and Frontier Constabulary, injuring a police constable Asad Khan.

Exchange of fire ensued and a miscreant was killed, while, others managed to flee the scene.

The injured police was transported to Hayatabad Medical Complex. Police took in custody the body of the miscreant.

According to Bomb Disposal Unit, the bomb was home made and contained 100 kilograms of explosives.
