Sher Shah incident was pre-planned, alleges Farooq KARACHI: Deputy Convener of Rabta Committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Dr Farooq Sattar alleged the gory incident at Sher Shah’s Kabari Market yesterday was a result of well-thought planning, Geo News reported Wednesday.

Addressing a press briefing here, he said there are eyewitnesses who saw everything when the incident occurred, now it is the foremost responsibility of the government to uncover the assassins, adding the requirements of justice would be met only when the responsible for Sher Shah gore are brought to book.

Farooq continued that a day before the incident, miscreants were seen scouring through shops and asking for certain people and later on the mishap day, the miscreants opened fire first on particular shops.

According to eyewitnesses, the assailants were wearing similar caps.

It is incumbent on the government to unveil the conspiracy behind sabotaging the peace of Karachi, he said adding Altaf Hussain have always been urging party workers to show patience.

It is high time justice was provided to the people, he remarked.

He said the MQM wants the peace of the city to be intact at all costs and is raring to render services of all sorts in the future as well.

Farooq Sattar observed at least five party workers were killed a day before the PS-94 by-elections.
