 KARACHI: Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) has disconnected the supply of electricity to Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) head office on Tuesday.
KESC spokesman, Kashif Afandi said that KWSB has to pay Rs5 billion in outstanding dues, which prompted KESC taking this unpleasant action. On the other hand, KWSB sources told that it has decided to sever water supply to the federal government organizations for non-payment of dues, which runs into billions.
