Updated at: 0939 PST, Thursday, October 21, 2010 SANA’: Interior Ministry on Wednesday offered 10 million riyals almost 40,700 dollars reward for information leading to two suspected Saudi members of al-Qaeda, the ministry said on its website on Wednesday.
The source identified the Saudi suspects men as Turki Saad Qulais al-Shahrani and Ahmad Abdul-Aziz Jaser al-Jaser.
They are wanted for having committed terrorist acts and sabotage, the ministry said.
The ministry's website posted the pictures of al-Shahrani and al-Jaser, but did not give more details and whether the reward announcement was coordinated with the Saudi Arabia.
The announcement urged all citizens to cooperate with the security authorities and provide them with any information may lead to the arrest of the two men.
On Saturday, the Interior Ministry announced 20 million (almost 93,500 dollars) reward for information about eight Yemeni al-Qaeda suspects.
The government is currently hunting al-Qaeda militants in some southern provinces, particularly Abyan and Shabwa, where militants said to be al-Qaeda continue to attack security personnel and facilities since May 2010. |
