 Funds released for Pakistan’s participation in World Snooker C’ship

 KARACHI: Pakistan Sports Trust released fund for Pakistan team’s participation in the World Snooker Championship.

Pakistani quests will leave for Austria on Saturday morning to take part in the mega event.

President Pakistan Billiard & Snooker Association Alamgir Shaikh told Geo News that chairman Pakistan Sports Trust Arif Hasan has released the fund of Rs600,000 for participation in the World Snooker Championship and now the Pakistani quests can take part in the championship.

He said that Khurram Agha and Saleh Mohammad would represent Pakistan in the World Snooker Championship whereas manager Abdul Wahid Qadir would also go to Austria to attend the meeting of the World Snooker Association.

The World Snooker Championship will begin from October 27.
