Iran asks Pakistan to hand over Sistan blast perpetrators ISLAMABAD: Additional forces will be deployed on Pak-Iran border, interior ministers of both the neighboring countries decided in the wake of terrorist attacks in Iran.

The decision was made at a meeting between Iranian interior minister Mohammad Mustafa Nijar and his Pakistani counterpart Rehman Malik in Islamabad.

Rehman Malik told media persons that Pak-Iran authorities will prepare and install joint surveillance system in border areas immediately while bilateral cooperation, in this regard, will be enhanced.

He said Iran has demanded handing over of Abdul Malik Regi along with others. However, he said, Pakistan had made it clear that Regi and his accomplices responsible for terrorist attacks in Iran are not present in Pakistan.


He further added that 2 wanted men by Iran are in Pakistan’s custody, but their identities are unknown so far. However, Iranian authorities will swap details with Pakistan in this regard.
