KARACHI: A partial strike against unscheduled load-shedding and economic crisis was observed in Karachi on Friday on the call given by Jamat-i-Islami and other political parties.
The strike call was given by JI and was supported by Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam, Pakistan Muslim League-N, Singh Taraqi Pasand Party, Tehreek-i-Insaf and other political parties.
Educational institutions and government as well as private offices remained open during the strike while the major markets of the city remained partially closed. |  |
