 Quetta police claims seizure of rockets, landmines

 QUETTA: Foiling a plot of terrorizing people, Quetta police claimed to have recovered several landmines and rocket launchers form Shalkot area of provincial capital Quetta on late on Saturday night, Geo news reported.

According to police sources, unknown miscreants had buried, under land, many landmines and rocket launchers, meant for triggering panic and lodging terrorist attacks, which Quetta police foiled by raiding on the place and ultimately seizing the entire armaments but no arrest could be made.

Police carried out raid on intelligence of presence of arms in the area, meanwhile, landmines had been defused on the recovery place, sources said.
