 Cold weather lands in Balochistan

 QUETTA: Cold weather has come to chill in the upper regions of Balochistan including Quetta.

Minimum temperature in Quetta was recorded at negative 0.5 degree centigrade, whereas, Kalat suffered the lowest temperature of zero centigrade.

According to Metrological Department, the mercury in Quetta is constantly below the freezing point, and cold weather may further intensify in the upcoming days.

Today minimum temperatures were recorded in Noukandi at 11.4 Centigrade, Zhob at 5.5 centigrade, Barkhan in 12.5 centigrade, 16.5 centigrade in Sibbi, zero centigrade in Kalat, 10 centigrade in Khazdar, 16.5 centigrade in Lesbela, 10 centigrade in Panjgor, 34 centigrade in Pasni, 22 centigrade in Jiwani, whereas 19 centigrade of temperature was recorded in Turbat and Gwadar.

The weather will stay cloudy in Balochistan, although there are no chances of rain, according to Metrological Department.
