| GEO Pakistan | | Qaim calls for implementation on FPPs | Updated at: 0827 PST, Monday, October 26, 2009 KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has called for proper implementation on Family Planning Programs (FPPs), saying it is the need of the hour to control rising population and cutting the formidable birth ratio in Pakistan in order to properly avail the available resources, Geo news reported on Sunday night.
This CM Sindh said during meeting with provincial minister for population welfare Syed Ali Murad Shah held here at CM house.
According to sources, Qiam Ali Shah, on the occasion, issued minister directives for strictly implementation on Population Welfare Programs (PWPs) including FPPs in order to control the menace of population in province.
Directing minister for making the population welfare centers operational and result-oriented in Sindh, CM said the public must be dispensed with literature on population control programs, sources said. |  |
