20 terrorists killed in Hangu, Orakzai: ISPR PESHAWAR: At least 20 militants were killed while 37 others were arrested during the joint action taken by Oragzai Agency’s and Hangu security forces, Geo news reported ISPR sources as claiming on Monday.

According to sources, as many as 37 suspected persons were also nabbed and heavy amount of arms were recovered during security forces’ search operation conducted in parts of Oragzai and Hangu on Monday afternoon.

Security forces bombed militants suspected hideouts, destroying two among them and killing six miscreants in Mamonzai and Shakar tangi areas located in Upper and Central Oragzai Agency.

14 militants were also killed in the retaliatory firing by security forces after they launched attack on forces checkposts in Torah Dari area of Hangu, sources said.

Forces sources said one security man also embraced martyrdom during clashes with militants during Hangu fighting.

The incentives and salaries of Garbis tribe were also ceased due to non-cooperation with political administration in Mohmand Agency, sources concluded.
