 LAHORE: The new look Pakistan hockey team will hope for the change of fortune as they play their first match of the four-nation Hamburg Masters against Malaysia.
The national hockey team, led by centre-forward Shakeel Abbasi, went through a revamp ahead of the tournament being played on single league basis.
They will play Belgium in their second match of the tournament before taking on the hosts and the Olympic champions Germany in their last league match on Sunday.
The greenshirts finished 8th in the 12 nation Olympic Games, a performance after which the management as well as senior players were shown the door. |  |
