JOHANNESBURG: Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first against New Zealand in the second day-night semi final of ICC Champions Trophy being played at The Wanderers Stadium here on Saturday.

After the toss, Pakistan skipper said, ‘We are strong in both batting and bowling.’
He said the pitch here is very good and Pakistan would try to hit a large total.
Kiwis captain Vettori said had he won the toss, he would have batted first.
The winners will meet defending champions Australia, who thrashed England by nine wickets in the first semi-final at Centurion on Friday. The final will be played on Monday. Pakistan made two changes from the side that lost to Australia in their last league match, bringing in Mohammad Aamer and Imran Nazir in place of Mohammad Asif and Misbah-ul-Haq.
