Stock prices flat at local bourse KARACHI: Local equities at Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) Meanwhile, stocks ended almost flat in dull trade as investors continued to stay away from the market.

Trade activities remained thin with low volumes as investors seemed unwilling to take aggressive positions.

The Karachi Stock Exchange's benchmark 100-share index ended 0.04 percent, or 4.50 points, higher at 10,029.36.

Turnover was 59.68 million shares, compared with 63.41million shares on Tuesday.

In the money market, overnight rates rose to 12.0 percent from the previous day's close of 11.0 percent.

Dealers said the market was awaiting the result of a fortnightly central bank treasury bills auction, scheduled to be announced later in the day.
