KARACHI: Shares at Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) extended gains on Friday as investors bought shares amid hopes of healthy corporate results in the coming weeks, dealers said. The Karachi Stock Exchange's benchmark 100-share index ended 0.68 percent, or 68.80 points, higher at 10,260.48.
Turnover was 134.7 million shares, compared with 148.2million shares on Thursday.
The decent rise yesterday was good for the market and there was a carryover effect today, dealers said.
The index closed 1.62 percent higher on Thursday.
Most companies will announce their financial results for the quarter ending Sept 30 in the coming weeks. |
