Updated at: 1503 PST, Thursday, October 09, 2008 DIR: At least seven people were killed and several others injured in a roadside bomb blast near police van carrying prisoners in Dir on Thursday.
According to sources, a remote-controlled bomb hit prisoners’ van, killing at least four policemen and three prisoners in Dir Bala. A school van passing from the place of blast was also affected, sources said.
