 KARACHI: Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the wellhead prices of the some key producing fields upwardly, which stand effective from July-December 2010.
According to revised wellhead rates, prices of Sui and Kandhkot fields have been revised up by 6% on half on half basis and are now set at Rs152.2 per mmbtu.
Provisional wellhead price for Qadirpur has been raised to Rs 230.76 per mmbtu from Rs227.68 earlier. This is mainly due to the exchange rate benefit that OGRA has allowed on the field’s provisional wellhead price. This leads to an earnings impact of Rs 0.06 per share for OGDC.
OGRA for the first time has started notifying wellhead prices for new production fields including Hala and Nashpa. The authority has also set the wellhead price for Manzalai field at $2.83 per mmbtu. |
