 LONDON: Arsenal unveiled the latest product from their seemingly endless production line of talent on Wednesday night when Jay Simpson, a 19-year Londoner started for the first time and scored twice.
Strike partner Carlos Vela - also 19 years old, the average age of the side - added a third as Arsenal cruised past its English Premier League rival Wigan. Meanwhile, a star-filled Manchester United laboured to a 1-0 victory over League Championship side Queens Park Rangers.
