ECP declares degrees of 56 MPs as bogus ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has accepted the degrees of 607 parliamentarians while the degrees of 56 were declared as fake.

Talking to Geo News, spokesman of the ECP said that the list of provided by HEC, degrees of 56 lawmakers have been declared as bogus. These included five senators, 16 MNAs, 20 MPAs of Punjab Assembly, three from Sindh Assembly, seven from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and five from Balochitan Assembly.

According to the ECP spokesman, the degrees of MNA Liaquat Abbass, MPAs Abdul Haseeb, Neelum Chaudhary and Farooq Yousuf were not presented while the degrees of other parliamentarians are being scrutinized.
