MUMBAI: The genda of the fourth edition of the Indian Premier League includes use of pink ball and four fieldding substitutes. These changes will boost the image of the IPL according to chairman Lalith Modi.
At the eend of the three-day franchisee workdhop in Bangkok, he told about these changes in the IPL set up.
He said that the new year would usher in a brand new set of players for the Indian Premier League’s 2010 edition.
Modi said that teams may be permitted the use of four fielding substitutes rather than the twelfth man.
He said that the suggestions also include the introduction of pink ball in practice matches and end of player icon.
Besides, the IPL will be played from the next year under supervision of anti-corruption and security units of the ICC. |  |
