Sanjay Dutt, not Salman to host ‘Dus Ka Dum’

Updated at: 1658 PST,  Wednesday, November 17, 2010
Sanjay Dutt, not Salman to host ‘Dus Ka Dum’ MUMBAI: Dus Ka Dum makers are finally heaving a sigh of relief. The show will get a new host and he is Sanjay Dutt. The channel tried enough to get the original host Salman Khan but certain issues (financial) remain unsolved.

With the show, Sanjay will begin his small screen journey like many other top Bollywood actors. But initially the actor had his doubts and was convinced only after noting Amitabh Bachchan’s phenomenal success as a host of KBC.

However, the first choice of the channel after Salman Khan refused to do the show was Anil Kapoor. But since Anil is busy shooting for Hollywood flick Mission Impossible 4, he couldn’t join the show.

Thus, Sanjay came in to the picture. As per reports, the talks with Sanjay have almost reached the culmination point. The channel is reportedly paying him a whopping amount for hosting the show.

The first two seasons of Dus Ka Dum were huge hit among the masses; let’s see what Sanjay brings to the show. Obviously, it got to be different!
