 Physical remand of former DG Hajj extended

Physical remand of former DG Hajj extended ISLAMABAD: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Thursday obtained physical remand of former DG Hajj, Rao Shakil for four more days, Geo News reported.


Judicial Magistrate Wajid Hussain Mughal extended his physical remand on the request of FIA officials as other accused involved in the scandal were busy in Hajj operations.

Before the judicial magistrate, Rao Shakil, alleged that the real accused in the scandal was Secretary Religious Affairs Agha Qazalbash. He added that he was being mentally tortured and was not provided the copy of FIR registered against him.

The magistrate granted his physical remand for four more days besides ordered FIA to provide the copy of FIR.
