Tom Cruise in death-defying Dubai stunt

Updated at: 2306 PST,  Sunday, November 21, 2010
Tom Cruise in death-defying Dubai stunt DUBAI: Tom Cruise was seen hanging from the top of the world's tallest building in Dubai on Friday during the filming of his spy thriller “Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol.”

The American film star dangled from Burj Khalifa several times also last week and descended to the 124th observation floor in a surprise greeting of tourists.

Cruise moved back and forth across the tower windows while a helicopter hovered above for several minutes. Meanwhile, ambulances and vehicles carrying filming equipments could be seen in a restricted area on the ground.

Filming in Dubai is scheduled to continue until the end of November and the action in the thriller is expected to top previous Cruise movies such as "Top Gun", "Minority Report", "'The Last Samurai" and "War of the Worlds."
