Miscreants kill 3 cops in Bannu checkpost attack BANNU: As many as three cops were killed as unidentified miscreants lodged rocket-propelled grenades attack on a security checkpost in Bannu here on early Saturday.

According to sources, the incident took place near Mandaan police station where troublemakers attacked a security checkpost with light weapons, killing at least three cops on the spot. A cop also received bullet injuries during the incident.

Bannu District Police Officer (DPO) told, “Accused succeeded to flee from the scene as the security personnel, present on the spot, retaliated.

Meanwhile, Paramilitary forces have been sent in the area in search of the miscreants.
