HANOI: At least seven people have been killed in a collision between a train and a bus in the Vietnam capital's suburban district, a railway source said Monday.
Three people died at the scene of the accident on Sunday in Hanoi's Thuong Tin district while four others died on the way to hospital, a staff member at the Vietnam Railway Corporation said, citing an official internal report.
Fourteen others were injured, she told foreign news agency, adding the accident happened as "the bus deliberately crossed the railway when the train was heading north."
