2002 Mumbai bus bombing suspect arrested in Noida NEW DELHI: Indian police have arrested suspect allegedly involved in Mumbai bus blast in 2002.

The Anti-Terrorist Squad on Tuesday arrested suspect Taufeeq in Noida, city near New Delhi.

The police claimed that Taufeeq was trying to escape Saudi Arabia via Nepal from Thanjavur district of Tamil Nadu when he was arrested.

It may be noted here that at least two people were killed and over 50 injured in the bomb blast that occurred in a bus on 6 December 2002.
